We all know how your personal computer gets slower and slower with time after you first purchase it. Some people are mistaken that it is a hardware issue and while it may partially be true most likely your PC is just full of unnecessary stuff and there is no reason to invest into a new hardware. Basically, what happens is over time you collect data which is used only once and then left to dust in your system. The good news is there are simple ways and programs out there to help you clean up PC and get it running faster again.
- Uninstall unused software and games. This is the first manual step we could take to improve performance. Many people think that if they are not using a program it doesn't affect the speed of the operational system at all - that is completely wrong. It is important to understand that even if you don't actively use a piece of software it might still launch processes on startup, these processes are running the whole time and consuming memory and processing power. Unused software left to dust on your hardware also fills up your registries database, which in turn reduces booting up speed. - Delete all the temporary data. When you browse the internet and use some of the programs your computer will save all the temporary data it needs on its hardware. We are talking about all the images you check online, buffered videos, PDFs you have read only once and won't need anymore, and even installation files for your other programs. Everything is stored, taking space and slowing you down. Be cautious and download only legit software like CCleaner and from legit developers like Lavasoft.
